Description

PLThe subject of the invention is a hydraulic stabilizer of the vortex motion of a body supported at one point, in particular to reference weights of a weight-piston manometer. Weight-piston manometers work on the principle of the definition of pressure as the quotient of the force and the surface area on which this force acts. Therefore, having the known force acting on the piston and the effective cross-section area on which this force acts, the value of the pressure under the piston can be determined. In order for the pressure under the piston to correspond with the required accuracy to the quotient of the force and the cross-sectional area, the frictional resistance of the piston against the cylinder must be sufficiently low. Until now, in the known solutions of load-piston manometers, the rotating piston is subjected to a given force in various design systems. One of the more common solutions, with numerous advantages, is the system that ensures that the weights rotate together with the piston. The disadvantage of spinning weights is that due to inaccuracies in execution, a set of rotating weights causes axial forces that distort the measurement or make it impossible to make such a measurement. Various design solutions are used to connect the weights with the measuring piston. These are rigid joints with very accurate machining with dynamic balancing, articulated joint with the use of complicated electronic equipment to stabilize the vortex movement and a rigid joint with an additional guiding element. The use of an additional guiding element connecting the weights with the measuring piston causes additional errors in the obtained measurement results. According to the invention, the hydraulic stabilizer of the rotary motion of the weights rigidly fixed on the supported rotating sleeve consists in the fact that the sleeve has an end with a reduced cross-section forming a cylindrical ring, which is immersed in a tank with a viscous liquid medium. Between the walls of the ring and the walls of the tank, gaps are formed, filled by the sticky fluid, creating a hydraulic wedge. <2 89 604 The hydromechanical system stabilizing the rotating movement of the masses supported at one point, constructed on this principle, makes it possible to dampen the processional movement without the simultaneous introduction of forces acting along the direction of the load with the possibility of movement of the weight in this direction. The subject of the invention is shown in the example of the embodiment in the drawing in which the stabilizer is shown in longitudinal section. In the weight-piston manometer, the weights 1 are rigidly mounted on the bearing pad 4. The sleeve 4 is appropriately supported on the axis 3 of the rotating piston and with its end immersed in the viscous liquid 7 filling the reservoir 8. Ring 5, constituting an extension of the support sleeve 4, has a correspondingly reduced wall thickness, which is selected so as to obtain gaps 6 between the walls of the tank 8 to form a hydraulic wedge with the liquid used. During the rotational movement of the sleeve 4, in the case of the processional movement of the weights 1, this movement is damped by the obtained hydraulic wedge in the slot 6. The weight 1 and sleeve 4 rotate around the axis defined by the ball joint 2 and the center of the side surfaces of the stationary tank 8. EN
