Description

Postepowanie to nadaje sie szczególnie do wytwarzania olejów mineralnych o niskim punkcie krzepniecia takich, jakie potrzebne sa do niektórych celów przemyslowych. Ponizej przytoczo¬ no kilka przykladów wykonania: 1. Olej mineralny o punkcie tezenia — 4°C zmieszano z parafina o punkcie to¬ pienia 40°C. Temperatura oziebienia mie¬ szaniny wynosila—17°C, punkt krzepniecia uzyskanego przesaczu — 12°C. < 2. Temperatura oziebienia wynosila —6°C, punkt krzepniecia uzyskanego prze¬ saczu wynosil — 3°C. 3. Na smar maszynowy o punkcie krzepniecia + 0,5°C oddzialywano rów¬ niez materjalem dodatkowym o punkcie topnienia 40°C. Temperatura oziebienia wynosila — 17°C punkt krzepniecia uzy¬ skanego przesaczu — 12°C.Znaczne obnizenie punktu krzepniecia, którego nie mozna bylo uzyskac bez do¬ dania materjalu dodatkowego, dowodzi, ze zle krystalizujaca albo koloidalnie roz¬ puszczona parafine doprowadzono do wydzielenia. PL PLCooling and filtering of the oils have hitherto been widely used to separate the dissolved paraffin from mineral oil products. The precondition for this method to be effective is that the dissolved paraffin tends to change into a crystalline state. If, however, the oil is of such a type that when cooling the crystals with difficulty or not at all, then there is no deliberate release of paraffin, and treatment of the oils, according to a known method, causes them to behave like a cooled salt solution. it is based on the idea that mineral oil products which, when cooled, behave like colloidal solutions, or whose paraffins do not crystallize at all or crystallize badly, and which, therefore, do not crystallize after simply cooling and filtering. the possibility of no or insignificant change of the freezing point, rendering it crystallizable and filterable by the addition of small amounts of well-crystallising paraffins, the fusing point of which is much higher than the fusion point of the respective oil. The effect of adding such paraffins is revealed in the following cooling and filtration, but nowadays, even at low temperatures, filtering is easy and a product is obtained t, which does not contain any more badly crystallizing and colloidal paraffins and therefore, according to the temperature used for cooling, has a correspondingly lower slope freezing point. The decrease in the freezing point is a measure of the resulting separation of colloidally dissolved or poorly crystallizing paraffin. This procedure is particularly suitable for the production of low-freezing mineral oils such as are needed for some industrial purposes. The following are some examples of implementation: 1. A mineral oil having a melting point of - 4 ° C was mixed with paraffin with a melting point of 40 ° C. The cooling temperature of the mixture was -17 ° C, the solidification point of the resulting slurry was -12 ° C. <2. The distillation residue with a solidification point of + 28 ° C was treated with an additive with a solidification point of 40 ° C. The cooling temperature was -6 ° C, the solidification point of the obtained slurry was -3 ° C. 3. The machine grease with a solidification point of + 0.5 ° C was also affected by an additive with a melting point of 40 ° C. The cooling point was - 17 ° C., the freezing point of the obtained flow - 12 ° C. The significant decrease in the freezing point, which could not be obtained without the addition of additional material, proves that poorly crystallizing or colloidally dissolved paraffin was separated.
