The aim of the invention is to eliminate the difficulties associated with making castings from an external layer rich in aluminum, and the technical problem to be solved is to develop a method for making double-layer castings. The technical problem "was solved by developing a method of making double-layer castings, consisting in covering the model or its selected surfaces with aluminum foil. After forming the model, the model is removed and the aluminum foil remains inside the mold. The method according to the invention ensures easy two-layer castings with an aluminum layer.
