Takie- mi produktami, szczególnie szkodliwemi dla katalizatorów sa np. tlenek wegla, Was weglowy, tlen, zwiazki siarki, woda i t. d.Sposób wedlug niniejszego wynalazku po¬ zwala te zanieczyszczenia usunac calko¬ wicie albo prawie calkowicie.Sposób ten polega na teni, ze przez ze¬ tkniecie gazów, przeznaczonych do oczy¬ szczenia, z drobno sproszkowanemi meta¬ lami alkalicznemi albo wapniowcami lub ich amidkami, gazy te zostaja uwolnione od sladów wskazanych zanieczyszczen. Do¬ kladne zetkniecie gazów ze srodkami oczy¬ szczaj acemi mozna osiagnac albo przez przepuszczanie gazów przez nie albo tez przez plókanie gazów temi srodkami* Za¬ miast metali alkalicznych lub wapniowców albo ich amidów mozna równiez stosowac ich mieszaniny lub tez mieszaniny metali albo amidków obu grup. Korzystnie jest stosowac srodki oczyszczajace w roztworze bezwodnego rozpuszczalnika.
