Tak wiec przez dalsza rozbudowe ukladu mozna uzyskac kaskadowe skupianie wiazki promieni pyskujac wiazke o bardzo duzym natezeniu.2 78483 PL PLPriority: Application announced: October 30, 1973 Patent description was published: May 19, 1975 78483 KI. 42h, 8 MKP G02b5 / 10 | * i & 'uor £ i Inventor: Bohdan Smyla Authorized by the provisional patent: Zakłady Produkcyjno-Mechanizacyjne Przemyslu Weglowego, Gliwice (Poland) Optical capacitor The subject of the invention is an optical capacitor for changing the intensity of a beam of parallel rays. there are mirror systems whose task is to give the ray beam the character of a beam of parallel rays. In these systems, the concave mirror has a light source placed in the focus, and thus emits a beam of parallel rays. In order to obtain a beam of high intensity, in these solutions a sufficiently strong source of light should be placed in the focal point. The aim of the invention is to focus the beam of parallel rays with a large cross-section into a beam with a small cross-section, but high intensity. This goal was achieved in an optical condenser according to the invention made of at least two concave mirrors with a common optical axis and a common focus, the focusing mirror having a central hole with a diameter appropriate to the diameter of the beam of parallel rays reflected from the opposite mirror. In the capacitor according to the invention, the intensity of the beam of light rays changes without changing the nature of this beam, i.e. while maintaining the parallelism of the input and output rays. This arrangement can be further developed, creating a cascade arrangement. The optical capacitor according to the invention is shown schematically in the attached drawing. Two concave mirrors 1 and 2 with a common optical axis are arranged in an opposing position so that they have a common focus F and Fx. Mirror 1 has a centric hole 3, the diameter of which corresponds to the starting diameter of the rays, i.e. of the beam reflected by the mirror 2. While the beam of parallel rays falls on the mirror 1, it is concentrated in the focus F of the focusing mirror 1, which is also the focus Fk of the mirror 2, and thus the focus F is the source of light for the mirror 2. In this situation the starting point is the light beam is a beam of parallel rays, but with an intensity greater than the intensity of the input beam. The beam of the rays reflected by the mirror 2 can be further focused by directing it to an analogous mirror pattern. Thus, by further expanding the system, it is possible to obtain a cascade focusing of the beam of rays by spitting a beam of very high intensity.
