Stosowanie glinu metalicznego do zwiek¬ szania sily kruszacej materjalów wybucho¬ wych niezawierajacych nitrogliceryny jest znane.Nigdy jednak nie próbowano dodawa nia glinu metalicznego do materjalów wy¬ buchowych, zawierajacych nitrogliceryne, poniewaz nitrogliceryna sama juz zwieksz i sile wybuchowa danego materjalu.Dodawanie glinu metalicznego do ma¬ terjalów wybuchowych, zawierajacych ni¬ trogliceryne, zwieksza sile wybuchowa dj tego stopnia, ze stosunkowo mala dawka glinu metalicznego pozwala na znaczna re¬ dukcje nitrogliceryny, a wiec ma doniosle znaczenie ekonomiczne. Doswiadczenia la¬ boratoryjne, przeprowadzone na szeroka skale, stwierdzily wyraznie, ze wspólna obecnosc glinu metalicznego i nitroglicery¬ ny ani nie sprowadza rozkladu, ani nie po¬ wieksza, wrazliwosci danego materjalu wy¬ buchowego. PLThe use of metallic aluminum to increase the crushing strength of explosives that do not contain nitroglycerin is known, but the addition of metallic aluminum to explosives containing nitroglycerin has never been attempted, since nitroglycerin itself will increase the explosive force of the metal itself. Explosive materials containing nitroglycerin increase the explosive force dj to such an extent that a relatively small dose of aluminum metal allows a significant reduction of nitroglycerin, and thus has significant economic importance. Laboratory experiments carried out on a large scale have clearly shown that the joint presence of metallic aluminum and nitroglycerin neither degrades nor increases the sensitivity of a given explosive.
