Toporek stanowi element galowego munduru strazackiego i noszony jest w przypietym do pasa munduru pokrowcu, oslaniajacym czesc metalowa toporka, tzw. zeleziec. Istote wzoru przemyslowego stanowi nowa postac przedmiotu, przejawiajaca sie w ksztalcie, ukladzie linii, wlasciwosciach powierzchni oraz barwie. Nowosc i oryginalnosc toporka strazackiego, wedlug wzoru przemyslowego, w stosunku do powszechnie stosowanych protokolarnych i pozaprotokolarnych odznaczen dla oddzialów strazy pozarnej, polega na wprowadzeniu do kompletu medalowych odznak, nowej postaci uhonorowania, w formie toporka, którego pierwowzorem jest profesjonalny toporek strazacki, bedacy elementem wyposazenia bojowego strazaka.Znane obecnie formy uhonorowania pracy strazaków w postaci nadawanych odznaczen, reguluje uchwala nr 96/XI/2000, zawierajaca regulamin nadawania odznak i wyróznien. Wsród tych odznaczen sa: zloty znak Zwiazku Ochotniczej Strazy Pozarnej RP, honorowy medal im. Boleslawa Chomicza, medal „Za Zaslugi Dla Pozarnictwa" oraz medale „Strazak Wodny", medal za wysluge lat oraz medal „Mlodziezowa Druzyna Pozarna". Wszystkie wymienione odznaczenia, sa w postaci tarcz, ozdobionych szarfa, sluzaca do zawieszania na szyi. Inny rodzaj honorowego, pozaprotokularnego odznaczenia dla sluzb strazy pozarnej jest chroniony w Urzedzie Patentowym RP wzorem przemyslowym pt. „Kordzik strazacki", nr 1238 i 1705.. Kordzik strazacki, bedacy odznaczeniem ochotniczej strazy pozarnej, sklada sie z pochwy oraz wykonanego z metalu kordelasa. Kordelas posiada rekojesc, której jelec jest w postaci toporka strazackiego, natomiast glowica rekojesci ma ksztalt helmu strazackiego. Przy jelcu rekojesci umieszczony jest wypust, stanowiacy wizerunek krzyza maltanskiego na tle splecionego wienca, z wkomponowanym wokól okregu napisem'OCHOTNICZA STRAZ POZARNA'. Ujecie rekojesci jest czarne, skórzane ze srebrna spiralna zdobina oraz przewiazane jest srebrna szarfa, zakonczona ozdobnym srebrno-czarnym guzem. Glownia kordelasa w górnej czesci, pod jelcem rekojesci zdobiona jest roslinna inkrustacja. Pochwa kordelasa jest czarna, skórzana z metalowymi, srebrzystymi okuciami trzewika, ryfki oraz szyjki, z czego okucia ryfki i szyjki zakonczone sa srebrzystymi brajcarkami. Przy brajcarkach ryfki i szyjki znajduja sie dwa skórzane, czarne rapcie. Glownia kordelasa, jelec wraz z wypustem oraz glowica rekojesci ma kolor srebrzysty metalowy. Kordzik strazacki, bedacy odznaczeniem zawodowej strazy pozarnej, sklada sie z pochwy oraz wykonanego z metalu kordelasa. Kordelas posiada rekojesc, której jelec jest w postaci toporka strazackiego, natomiast glowica rekojesci ma ksztalt helmu strazackiego. Przy jelcu rekojesci umieszczony jest zblizony do owala wypust, przedstawiajacy helm strazacki, nad którym znajduja sie dwa skrzyzowane toporkistrazackie oraz stylizowane plomienie ognia, a bezposrednio pod helmem wkomponowana jest fantazyjnie ulozona wstega z napisem 'PANSTOWA STRAZ POZARNA', otoczona motywami roslinnymi. Ujecie rekojesci jest czarne, skórzane ze srebrna spiralna zdobina oraz przewiazane jest zlota szarfa, zakonczona ozdobnym czarno-zlotym guzem. Glownia kordelasa w górnej czesci, pod jelcem rekojesci zdobiona jest roslinna inkrustracja. Pochwa kordelasa jest czarna, skórzana z metalowymi, zlocistymi okuciami trzewika, ryfki oraz szyjki, z czego okucia ryfki i szyjki zakonczone sa zlocistymi brajcarkami. Helm umieszczony jest na tle dwóch skrzyzowanych toporków, spod których wylaniaja sie jezory plomieni. Natomiast zdobine rewersu toporka, w czesci ostrza, dopelnia rysunek helmu strazackiego, umieszczonego na tle dwóch skrzyzowanych toporków, bosaka oraz drabinki. The axe is part of the firefighter's formal uniform and is worn in a sheath attached to the uniform belt, which covers the metal part of the axe, known as the iron. The essence of the industrial design is the new form of the object, manifested in its shape, line layout, surface properties, and color. The novelty and originality of the industrially designed fire axe, compared to the commonly used protocol and non-protocol decorations for fire departments, lies in the introduction of a new form of honor to the set of medal badges: an axe, modeled after the professional fire axe, which is part of a firefighter's combat equipment. Currently known forms of honoring firefighters' work through awards are regulated by Resolution No. 96/XI/2000, which contains the regulations for awarding badges and distinctions. These awards include the gold emblem of the Association of Volunteer Fire Departments of the Republic of Poland, the Bolesław Chomicz honorary medal, the "For Merit to Firefighting" medal, the "Water Firefighter" medal, the long-service medal, and the "Youth Firefighter Team" medal. All of the decorations mentioned are in the form of shields, adorned with a sash for hanging around the neck. Another type of honorary, non-protocol decoration for fire services is protected by the Polish Patent Office under the industrial design "Firefighter's Knife," no. 1238 and 1705. The firefighter's knife, a decoration of the volunteer fire department, consists of a scabbard and a metal cutlass. The cutlass has a handle with a crossguard in the shape of a fireman's axe, while the pommel is shaped like a fireman's helmet. A projection is located on the crossguard, representing an image of a Maltese cross against a background of an intertwined wreath, with the inscription "VOLUNTARY FIRE SERVICE" incorporated around a circle. The handle grip is black leather with silver spiral decoration and is tied with a silver sash, ending with a decorative silver and black button. The upper part of the cutlass blade, under the crossguard, is decorated with floral inlay. The cutlass scabbard is black leather with silver metal fittings on the butt, the hilt, and the neck, with the hilt and neck fittings ending in silver braces. Two black leather breeches are located on the braces on the hilt and neck. The cutlass blade, the crossguard with its lug, and the pommel are silver metal. The fireman's dagger, a symbol of the professional fire department, consists of a scabbard and a metal cutlass. The cutlass has a handle with a crossguard in the shape of a fireman's axe, while the pommel is shaped like a fireman's helmet. A roughly oval projection, representing a fireman's helmet, is located on the crossguard, above which are two crossed fireman's axes and stylized flames. Directly below the helmet is a fancifully arranged ribbon with the inscription 'NATIONAL FIRE SERVICE', surrounded by floral motifs. The handle grip is black leather with a silver spiral ornament and is tied with a gold sash, ending with a decorative black and gold button. The upper part of the cutlass blade, beneath the crossguard, is decorated with a floral inlay. The cutlass's scabbard is black, leather, with gold-colored metal fittings on the butt, butt, and neck. The butt and neck fittings are finished with gold-colored bracers. The bracers on the butt and neck have two black leather lugs. The cutlass' blade is silver-colored metal, while the crossguard, including the lug and pommel, are gold-colored metal. The materials used to recreate the fire axe, according to the industrial design, include drawings and photographs of the axe, as well as a workshop matrix. The subject of the industrial design is shown in the attached drawings, in which: Fig. 1 shows the obverse of a fire axe of the volunteer fire brigade Fig. 2 shows the reverse of a fire axe of the volunteer fire brigade Fig. 3 shows the obverse of a fire axe of the professional fire brigade Fig. 4 shows the reverse of a fire axe of the professional fire brigade An essential feature of the fire axe, according to the industrial design illustrated in Figs. 1 and 2, is that the axe has a curved black shaft, topped with a silver metal iron in the shape of an axe with a convex blade, ending with an arched spike. Both sides of the axe are covered with inlaid ornamentation, symbolizing stylized "bursting" lakes of flame and fire. The ornamentation on the obverse of the axe, in the blade section, is complemented by the image of the Volunteer Fire Department emblem in the form of a Maltese cross, with floral motifs incorporated between the arms and the Jagiellonian eagle inscribed in the central part of the cross. The ornamentation on the reverse of the axe, in the blade section, is complemented by an image of a fireman's helmet placed against the background of a crossed axe, boat hook, and ladder. The axe shaft is girded with a white and red sash, topped with a black and silver button. A significant feature of the fire axe, based on the industrial design illustrated in Figures 3 and 4, is that it has a curved black shaft, topped with a silver metal axe-shaped handle with a convex blade and an arched spike. Both sides of the handle are covered with inlaid ornamentation, symbolizing stylized "bursting" tongues of flame and fire. The ornamentation on the obverse of the axe, on the blade section, is complemented by an image of a State Fire Service element in the form of a fireman's helmet, on the visor of which are inscribed the letters 'PSP', while the helmet's head is decorated with an eagle. The helmet is placed against a background of two crossed axes, from under which tongues of flame emerge. The axe's reverse, on the blade section, is decorated with a fireman's helmet, set against the backdrop of two crossed axes, a boat hook, and a ladder.
