Celem wynalazku jest unikniecie tych wad i niedogod¬ nosci i opracowanie takiego srodka do odrdzewiania, którego stosowanie w srodowisku bezwodnym byloby prostsze i bar¬ dziej ekonomiczne.Cel ten zostal osiagniety przez zastosowanie odrdze- wiacza wedlug wynalazku. Zgodnie z wynalazkiem odrdze¬ wiacz sklada sie z okolo 30,0 czesci wagowych kwasu orto¬ fosforowego o ciezarze wlasciwym 1,71, okolo 10,0 czesci wagowych alkoholu etylowego, 30,0 czesci wagowych octanu butylu i 30,0 czesci wagowych octanu amylu. PLPublished: 05.VII.1973 68331 KI. 48d \ l / 08 MKP C23gl / 08 UKD Inventors: Boleslaw Gluchowski, Eryk Kalandyk, Roman Podsiadlo Patent owner: Kieleckie Zaklady Wyrobów Metalowych Przedsiebiorstwo Panstwowe, Kielce (Poland) Rust remover for removing corrosion products from the surface of iron, especially steel 1 ^ Object of the invention is a rust remover to remove corrosion products from the surface of iron, especially steel. Known rust removers used to remove corrosion products from the surface of steel structures before painting have in their composition organic acids, which after the rust removal process are washed out with neutralizing solutions and water to remove the residues of unreacted acids, and then the rust-free surfaces of steel structures are dried. The disadvantage of these rust removers is the necessity to use aqueous solutions for rinsing. The water contains calcium and magnesium bicarbonates and carbonic anhydride, which are the source of corrosion in the flushing process. The object of the invention is to avoid these drawbacks and inconveniences and to develop a rust remover which is simpler and more economical to use in an anhydrous environment. This object is achieved by the use of the de-rusting agent according to the invention. According to the invention, the dewormer consists of approximately 30.0 parts by weight of orthophosphoric acid with a specific gravity of 1.71, approximately 10.0 parts by weight of ethyl alcohol, 30.0 parts by weight of butyl acetate and 30.0 parts by weight of amyl acetate. According to the invention, the rust remover according to the invention does not require rinsing the rusted surfaces with neutralizing liquids or water and drying, because after they are rusted and phosphated, the remaining products are evaporated and the surface is prepared for painting. These effects are obtained by selecting the quantitative composition so that The chemical compounds in the form of phosphoric acid esters in a state of chemical equilibrium have a stoichiometric excess of phosphoric acid needed to phosphate the rusted surface. In addition, the rust removal process is simple to use, it allows for the thorough removal of corrosion products, with reduced proc-absorbency. An additional advantage of the rust remover is obtaining a rusty surface covered with phosphate. According to the invention, the rust remover is an essentially colorless liquid with an ester smell. However, it may have a shade from yellow to light brown. The rust remover is applied to corroded surfaces with a brush, ram, spray gun or by dipping. When the rust remover comes into contact with corrosion products, free acetic acid is released, which reacts quickly with these products, which are mainly hydrated iron oxides. At the same time, the free phosphoric acid reacts entirely with the cleaned substrate to form a corrosion-resistant phosphate coating. The excess unreacted liquid evaporates quickly. The duration of the derusting process depends on the amount of corrosion products formed on the surface of the items subjected to derusting. PL
