Przedmiotem wzoru zdobniczego jest postument ekspozycyjny, przeznaczony do ekspozycji pierscionków. Istota wzoru jest nowa postac przedmiotu, przejawiajaca sie w jego uksztaltowaniu.Przedmiot wzoru zdobniczego jest uwidoczniony na ilustracjii przedstawia- jacej w widoku dwie odmiany postumentu. Istota postumentu ekspozycyjnego, wedlug pierwszej odmiany wzoru zdobniczego, przeznaczonego do ekspozycji pierscionków, polega na tym, ze ma okragla, stopniowana podstawe, na której usytuowany jest prosty stozek z zaokraglonym wierzcholkiem, jak pokazano na zalaczonej ilustracji fig. 1.
