Umieszczenie elementów świetlnych w kasecie o znacznej grubości jest niefunkcjonalne i utrudnia ścisłe przytwierdzenie ramy witraża do powierzchni, na której ma się znajdować. Niedogodności tę eliminuje rozwiązanie według wzoru. Witraż podświetlany jest wyposażony w ramę i źródło światła. Witraż i źródło światła są umieszczone wewnątrz ramy a źródło światła stanowi taśma LED umocowana za pomocą środka klejącego ukośnie wzdłuż całego obwodu ramy oświetlając od wewnątrz białą, rozpraszającą światło pokrywę, zabezpieczającą całość od tyłu.
