Prostopadle do niebieskiego paska w lewej czesci okladki tytulowej jest umiejscowiony pionowy pasek - ornament, na, który skladaja sie motywy roslinne, postacie ludzi i zwierzat a w prawym dolnym narozu jest reprodukcja arrasu z inicjalami króla Zygmunta Augusta. Powyzej znajduje sie napis skladajacy sie z ozdobnych liter: „ ARRASY Z KOLEKCJI ZYGMUNTA AUGUSTA" i ponizej jego czterojezyczne tlumaczenie. Po lewej stronie napisu umiejscowiono smukla stylizowana litere „W" zwienczona na górze korona. Wewnetrzna powierzchnia tytulowej okladki ma ozdobny element w postaci pasa utworzony z miniaturowych reprodukcji arrasów, które tak jak i ich wieksze reprodukcje zawarte wewnatrz folderu w harmonijkowym ukladzie, sa uszeregowane wedlug nastepstwa czasowego wydarzen opisanych w biblii i przedstawionych skrótowo przy poszczególnych miniaturkach. Na zewnetrznej powierzchni dolnej okladki w poblizu je j dluzszej dolnej krawedzi jest poziomy ornament zblizony w ksztalcie do rozwartej litery „U" o motywie takim samym, jak motyw pionowego pasa na tytulowej okladce a w poblizu górnego lewego naroza dolnej okladki, jest smukla stylizowana litera „W" zaopatrzona na górze w korone. Obie okladki sa polaczone grzbietem, którego elementem zdobniczym jest ozdobny napis „ARRASY" umiejscowiony w poblizu górnego brzegu grzbietu a ponizej jego czteroje2yczne tlumaczenie. The subject of the ornamental design is a souvenir folder in the form of a booklet with reproductions of decorative tapestries from the 16th century Wawel Castle. The essence of the ornamental design is manifested in the arrangement of graphic elements on both covers and the spine of the booklet, as well as the chronological themes of the reproductions of the tapestries themselves located within the folder, as well as the use of miniature reproductions as decorative elements on the covers, and the use of elements such as decorative lettering or border elements as decorative strips for decorative purposes. The subject of the design is presented in the attached photocopies, on which Figure 1 shows the outer surfaces of both covers of the folder, i.e., the title cover (top) and the bottom cover connected by a spine, and the decorative elements arranged therein. Figure 2 shows the inside of the title cover, with a decorative element in the form of miniature tapestry reproductions with descriptions on the left and accordion-folded tapestry reproductions on the right. Figure 3 shows the chronological arrangement of the tapestry reproductions. The folder, according to the design, takes the form of a rectangular booklet with semi-hard covers and, between them, accordion-folded tapestry reproductions, selected according to the temporal sequence of events described in the Bible. The surfaces of both covers feature different decorative elements. The outer surface of the title (top) cover has a blue horizontal stripe running along its upper edge, across the spine of the folder, to the lower cover, and culminating in a coat of arms with the initials of King Sigismund Augustus. Perpendicular to the blue stripe on the left side of the title cover is a vertical stripe – an ornament consisting of plant motifs, human figures, and animals. In the lower right corner is a reproduction of a tapestry with the initials of King Sigismund Augustus. Above it is an inscription composed of decorative letters: "TAPRASSES FROM THE ZYGMUNT AUGUST COLLECTION" and below it a four-lingual translation. To the left of the inscription is a slender, stylized letter "W" topped with a crown. The inner surface of the title cover has a decorative element in the form of a stripe made of miniature reproductions of the tapestries, which, like their larger reproductions contained inside the folder in an accordion-like arrangement, are arranged according to the temporal sequence of events described in the Bible and briefly presented next to the individual miniatures. On the outer surface of the lower cover, near its longer bottom edge, there is a horizontal ornament similar in shape to the open letter "U," with the same motif as the vertical stripe on the title cover. Near the upper left corner of the lower cover, there is a slender, stylized letter "W" with a crown at the top. Both covers are connected by a spine, the decorative element of which is the ornate inscription "ARRASY" placed near the upper edge of the spine, and below it its four-language translation. Thanks to its decorative motifs, original graphics, and its content, the folder based on the pattern can become a sought-after souvenir and an interesting, valuable publication promoting the Wawel collection.
