The object of the utility model is the blocking of the connection of a gas and / or water meter, used to prevent unauthorized interference in the media reception system, especially at individual consumers. In practice, securing clamps are commonly used to prevent access to the bolted joints that fasten the meter for the quantity of the supplied medium. An exemplary security clamp is known from the Polish patent specification PL 188952, where it consists of two elements of a shape similar to the halves of the surface of a cylinder with holes in the bases, the first ends of these elements being bent to form two grooves with means for joining, and the second ends are connected to each other by a hinge. The right-hand key has at least two eyes and a locking tab at a distance from each other, while the left-hand key has holes for introducing the eyelets and a hole for introducing the tongue. The clamp is made of a rigid and brittle thermoplastic and its other ends are connected by a detachable hinge. Such a structure of the clamp makes it easier to check the seal marks and its condition, to use it several times by an authorized person after removing the seal and performing the planned works at the meter, and the appropriate clamping flanges prevent access to the screw connection securing the meter to the transmission conduit with a key. The fact that the clamp is made of brittle, preferably transparent material, allows to observe the condition of the threaded connection, and any unauthorized operations damage the clamp, signaling an attempted tampering. This solution is practically useful, but to secure the connection, two clamps with two seals are required, which extends the record of seals.

A similar securing clip is also known from the Polish patent description PL 192964 B1, as well as the invention US 4,471,982.

It is also known from the Polish application for utility model W.119146, a very simple securing clip, consisting of two half-rings connected at one end with a hinge and equipped with retaining walls. The half-rings have through-holes on the brackets located opposite to the hinge, while the clamp has an additional through-socket for the securing element. It is also an individual clamp for each connection.

The purpose of the utility model is to develop such a gas and / or water meter connection lock that will eliminate the possibility of unauthorized interference with the connection, simultaneously covering both screw connections of the meter with the wires, with a very simple structure and easy operation for an authorized operator.

The essence of the utility model consists in the fact that the blockade consists of two detachably connected segments, which in the top view are their mirror images, each of which has the form of a connector similar to a vertically situated flat bar, equipped at both ends with connected to it rigidly semi-seats with a profile similar to the half of the cylindrical surface with a U-shaped shoulder. The half-sockets at the top and bottom are equipped with bent flanges protecting access to the meter connections. At the same time, the connector of each segment has at least one through-hole for the connector, coaxial with both segments in their assembled state.

For a small spacing of the meter connection stubs, it is sufficient if the connector of each segment has one, located approximately in the middle of its length, a through hole for a screw joint connecting both segments in the assembled state.

With a larger spacing of the counter connection stubs, the connector of each segment preferably has two identically located and spaced apart through holes for a screw connector connecting the segments, which substantially stiffens the blockade.

Preferably, each half-seat and the connecting piece connecting them should have the same cross-section, the U-shaped shoulder of which encloses the hexagonal nut flange of each screw connection of the meter.

The main advantage of the lock according to the utility model is the complete covering of the meter's screw connections, eliminating the possibility of accessing them with the key by an unauthorized person.

At the same time, both the assembly and disassembly of the connection are very simple and carried out using typical tools.
