Znanych jest wiele konstrukcji kuchenek domowych, których korpusy są złożone z wielu elementów albo z jednego elementu wytworzonego metoda tłoczenia. Wszystkie one są skomplikowane w produkcji, więc kosztowne, a ponadto wszystkie charakteryzują się znaczą wysokością. Korpus obudowy kuchenki domowej ma kształt zbliżony do silnie wydłużonego prostopadłościanu, którego trzy boki 2 są zawinięte do środka, dwukrotnie, pod kątem 90°, a czwarty bok 5 jest wywinięty na zewnątrz. W dnie korpus 1 ma dwa szeregi podłużnych otworów 3 wentylacyjnych. W tylnej części dna korpus 1 ma prostokątną blachę 4 z otworami do mocowania elementów instalacji elektrycznej.
