There is no device according to the invention, the purpose of which is to provide a locking device of a simple structure, reliable in operation and suitable for all types of conveyors. This aim was achieved by providing a locking device of frictional, wedge, wedge-shaped design, preferably the ratchet is the second alloy niu gear. The device according to the invention consists of a ratchet placed on the shaft of the second stage of the gear, a two-armed latch equipped with a lever with a weight, and a bolt fixing the position of this lever, placed on the device casing.
