The inconvenience of known solutions is easy tearing off by the students at the edges of the decorative layers, thus damaging the tables and creating sharp edges that may cause injuries to the students' hands. The essence of the solution according to the utility model is the construction of a furniture top made of a basic filling chipboard connected inseparably with edge sticks of hard wood. The basic particle board and the edge trim on both sides are covered with a thin unilane decorative layer on the side surfaces. The outer front surfaces of the edge attachments are rounded. - 2 - In the solution according to the utility pattern, the structure of the tabletop ensures the assumed strength properties and long durability and resistance to abrasion of the edge working surface. thus eliminating the possibility of tearing these layers off the base and destroying countertops. In addition, the curvature of the front surfaces of the edge staples ensures their safe use, which is a particularly important advantage for schools and kindergartens. The design of the tabletop according to the pattern can be made in various sizes and with various external shapes. Connecting the components of the countertop with the gluing technology eliminates the need to use additional connecting elements such as screws, bolts, wedges. The high technical and operational qualities of the table top according to the utility design make it possible to use it for both student furniture and, for example, kitchen furniture in eateries, in workshops of tailor, hairdressing and cosmetic service companies.
