Zbiorniki te wykazuja szereg niedogodnosci.Maja duze wolne spadki urobku, w zwiazku z czym wymagaja stosowania urzadzen przeciw- 20 kruszeniiowych. 1 i fig. W szczelinach zbiorni¬ ka 3 znajduje sie dwustronny i dwukierunkowy wygarniacz 5 jezdzacy w prowadnicach 6. 20 25 PL PLPriority: 9.XII.1966 /P 117 896/ Published: 17.V.1968 LIBRARY ] UrzÄ…du Patortowftf* 55321 KI. 81 e, 106 MKP B 65 g UKD 6^/3o Co-authors of the invention: Jan Janik, M.Sc. Eng. Kazimierz Kubik, Jan Raszyński, Eng. Patent owner: Biuro Projektów Zakladów Przeróbki Mechanicznej Wegl "Separator", Katowice (Poland) Equalization tank Equalization tanks used in skip hoisting devices in mines are designed to ensure continuous collection of mined material from the faces in the event of a stoppage of the hoisting device and to ensure continuous feed to the hoisting device in the event of a temporary lack of collection of mined material from the faces. Equalization tanks are installed in series or parallel to the transport line. In a series arrangement, the entire mined material is transported through the equalization tank, while in a parallel arrangement, it is transported to the tank. only the excess of excavated material, or the entire excavated material in the reservoir. The surge tanks 15 used so far are vertical tanks with a circular cross-section, or inclined tanks with a rectangular cross-section. These tanks have a number of disadvantages. They have large free falls of excavated material, and therefore require the use of anti-crushing devices. When using serial systems, they require deeper shafts, corresponding to the reservoir depth, and when using parallel systems, the construction of ramps with conveyors 25 transporting the excavated material to and from the reservoir and the installation of additional power. Furthermore, the surge tanks used so far hinder ventilation, communication, and inspection and maintenance of the equipment. The subject of the invention shown in Fig. 1 and Fig. 2 is a horizontal equalization tank formed in a mining gallery 1. The actual equalization tank 2 is formed by the central part of this gallery. The equalization tank 2 is terminated at the bottom by a double-sided slot 3, the outlet of which is directed towards the center of the gallery. A discharge roof 4 is placed above the slots running along the entire length of the tank. In the slots of the tank 3 there is a two-sided and two-way scraper 5 running in guides 6. The scraper 5 is moved by a winch or a pulling machine 7 using steel ropes, and it has different speeds, depending on the needs. The mined material is transported from the faces through the preparation station 8, where the initial separation of coarse stone and large metal impurities takes place and the grain is crushed appropriately for the adopted enrichment technology, or directly from the faces by conveyor 9 to the transfer point 10. During the operation of the skip device, the delivered mined material reaches the transfer point 10 by another belt conveyor. 11, running under the surge tank, which transports the excavated material to the skip loading station 12. When the hoisting device is stopped or its capacity is reduced, all the excavated material or its excess at the transfer point 10 accumulates and spills onto the belt conveyor 13 running behind the tank in the upper part of the excavation. The excavated material is transported by this conveyor through a mobile dump truck 14 to surge tank 2. The tank is emptied when there is no excavated material delivery from the faces or when this delivery is reduced. The scale 15 installed on the conveyor 11 reacts to the lack of feed or its reduction and activates the scraper 5 at a speed ensuring full utilization of the capacity of the conveyor 11 and the skip device. The shape of the slots 3, the sloping bottom of the tank 16 and the discharge roof 4 of the equalizing tank 2 causes that only the layer of excavated material loosely piled on the sloping bottom of the tank is collected, which prevents crushing. The advantages of using the above-mentioned gallery equalizing tank and the method of its operation result from the elevation of the skip loading point, and thus from reducing the shaft depth, or from avoiding long ramps with belt conveyors transporting the excavated material to and from the tank, from the full utilization of the extraction capacity. skip device, from the reduction of the installed power in the conveyor drives, from cheaper and simpler construction of mine workings, and from simpler maintenance and more reliable operation. 20 25 PL PL
