There are various mascots that are symbols of cities and countries, companies, institutions, sporting events, etc., most often referring to animals or fairy-tale characters. Examples include: "Wislaczek" - a snowman from Wisła, "Swistak" - the Winter Universiade in Zakopane, or "Szczyrek" - a man from Szczyrk. The mascot's design is based on the old coat of arms of the city of Ustron, in which one of the graphic elements is the sun. The mascot alludes to the sun with the shape of its head and the imitation sun rays surrounding it. The overall figure resembles a human with a sun-shaped head. The mascot's primary colors are green and yellow. The head, hands, and feet are yellow, reminiscent of the sun, while the torso is green. The "Ustroniaczek" figure is made of soft fur and green canvas. The pocket located in the front chest area of the torso features the distinctive inscription "Ustroniaczek"—the mascot's name—in an original font. The face features a pair of "laughing" eyes made of a hard plastic material, a red pompom nose, and a smiling mouth (sewn in red material). Its basic dimensions are: height (from head to toe) 46 cm, width (measured by arm span) 36 cm. The whole thing feels pleasant to the touch and looks good and is an interesting example of promotional material. The "Ustroniaczek" mascot also has an "adult" version, approximately 2 meters high, which is a faithful copy of the basic version and serves as clothing for an adult. It is presented as a live mascot for promotional purposes for the city. Based on the basic version of the "Ustroniaczek" mascot, it is also planned to design and produce other versions in the future, differing, for example, in size or clothing elements.
