C 07 c Instytut Chemii Ogólnej*) Warszawa, Polska Sposób wytwarzania l,3-dwumetylo-4-aceto-5-(III-rzed.-biitylo)-benzenu Patent trwa od dnia 29 listopada 1961 r.Znany sposób wytwarzania 1,3-dwumety- lo-4-aceto-5-(III-rzed.-butylo)-benzenu polega na acetylacji l,3-dwumetylo-5-(III-rzed.-buty- lo)-benzenu chlorkiem acetylu w obecnosci FeCls lub AlClz jako katalizatora w srodowisku dwusiarczku wegla.Sposób ten wykazuje te niedogodnosc, ze istnieje niebezpieczenstwo pozaru oraz mozli¬ wosc zatrucia, wskutek stosowania dwusiarcz¬ ku wegla, a poza tym wydajnosc reakcji jest niewielka i wynosi zaledwie 35Vo wydajnosci teoretycznej.Stwierdzono, ie mozna wytworzyc 1,3-dwumetylo- 4-aceto-5- (III-rzed.- butylo)- -benzen z wydajnoscia rzedu 95°/t, jesli proces *) Wlasciciel patentu oswiadczyl, ze wspól¬ twórcami wynalazku sa doc. Wlodzimierz Da- niewski i mgr inz. Iwona Majewska. acetylowania l,3-dwumetylo-5-(III-rzed.-buty- lo)-benzenu prowadzi sie w srodowisku cztero¬ chlorku wegla, w zakresie temperatur od 0°C do 10°C w przeciagu kilku godzin.Przyklad. 93,4 g AlCl* w 400 ml czterochlorku wegla umieszczono w kolbie Witta i wkroplonb 55 g chlorku acetylu w przeciagu 15 min. Na¬ stepnie w temperaturze 5°C wkroplono 96 g l,3-dwumetylo-5-(III-rzed.-butylo)-benzenu w przeciagu 3 godzin po czym mieszano jeszcze jedna godzine. Nastepnie dodano lodu i miesza¬ no 15 minut. Otrzymany produkt przemyto wo¬ da, lV«-wym wodnym roztworem weglanu so¬ dowego i oddestylowano czterochlorek wegla.Po oddestylowaniu czterochlorku wegla calosc poddano destylacji prózniowej, po czym pro¬ dukt odbierano jako frakcje o temperaturze wrzenia 127—134°C przy 7 mm Hg. Otrzymano114 g produktu, co stanowi 84,5"°/» wydajnosci teoretycznej. PL
