Abstract
The subject of the application is a surface-modified loop for removing broken endodontic instruments, as shown in the drawing. The loop for removing broken endodontic instruments is characterized in that the gripping portion of the loop is made of a metallic or polymeric material whose surface has been subjected to a surface modification that increases the coefficient of friction, wherein this modification includes at least one process selected from: abrasive blasting, chemical etching, laser texturing, anodizing, thin-film deposition, nanoparticle deposition, or other equivalent methods for creating micro- or nano-roughness.
