Przedłużacz elektryczny sterowany przewodowo zbudowany z wtyczki (3) połączony przewodem (2) z gniazdem lub listwą z gniazdami (1) dla urządzeń elektrycznych z wyłącznikiem sieciowym charakteryzuje się tym, że wyłącznik sieciowy (5) połączony jest przewodem dwużyłowym (4) z przewodem fazowym w gnieździe przedłużacza lub z przewodem fazowym w listwie z gniazdami (1), a drugi przewód z wyłącznika połączony jest do zacisku styku fazowego gniazda lub z zaciskiem fazowym listwy z gniazdami (1) umożliwiając włączanie i rozłączanie napięcia w gnieździe lub listwie. Wykorzystywane jest w budynkach domowych, publicznych i przemysłowych. Umożliwia szybkie i pewne rozłączenie od sieci elektrycznej urządzeń domowych i innych przyłączonych do gniazda lub listwy z gniazdami.
