Abstract
The subject of the application is a method for producing granulated perlite from perlite waste, which is characterized in that perlite dust and sulfogypsum or building gypsum are introduced into a disc granulator in such an amount that the ratio of the volume of the introduced perlite dust to the volume of sulfogypsum or building gypsum is in the range of 1 - 3, then granulation is carried out at the rotational speed of the granulator disc of 10 - 25 rpm for 5 - 20 minutes with simultaneous spraying of the granulated bed with an aqueous solution of molasses with a concentration of 30% - 90% as a moisturizing substance at a temperature of 10°C - 21°C, in the amount of 2 - 5 parts by weight per 10 parts by weight of the bed, then an additional portion of sulfogypsum or building gypsum is applied to the bed flowing in the drum in the amount of 1 - 2 parts by weight per 10 parts by weight initially supplied perlite and sulfogypsum or building gypsum and continues granulation for another 5 - 10 minutes.
