Abstract
Modułowy grawitacyjny magazyn energii elektrycznej zawierający kratową wieżę posadowioną na fundamencie, wewnątrz której znajdują się ciężary połączone liną z bębnem i dalej z układem silnik/generator zaopatrzonym w przyłącze do sieci energetycznej, zaopatrzoną w prowadnice, w którym kratowa wieża (2) jest w postaci prostopadłościanu i stanowi szyb, wewnątrz którego umieszczone są co najmniej dwa ciężary (4), które w górnej części zaopatrzone są w jarzma dla krążka linowego przesuwnego, a na górnym wieńcu kratowej wieży (2) zamocowane są dźwigary (5) zaopatrzone w krążki linowe stałe, odpowiadające krążkom linowym przesuwnym, zaś bęben linowy (8) i układ silnik/generator (3) umieszczone są na fundamencie (1) poza obrysem kratowej wieży (2). Korzystnie kratowa wieża (2) ma co najmniej dwa szyby, które mają wspólną ścianę wewnętrzną. Magazyn może magazynować energię elektryczną wytworzoną z energii słonecznej jako energię potencjalną w ciągu dnia w podwieszonych na dźwigarach (5) ciężarach (4), gdy dostępna jest energia słoneczna, i może, po grawitacyjnym opuszczeniu ciężarów (4), przekształcać energię potencjalną w energię elektryczną w godzinach nocnych, gdy energia słoneczna jest niedostępna, dostarczając przekonwertowaną energię elektryczną do sieci elektroenergetycznej.A modular gravity electric energy storage system comprising a lattice tower mounted on a foundation, inside which there are weights connected by a rope to a drum and further to an engine/generator system provided with a connection to the power grid, provided with guides, wherein the lattice tower (2) is in the form of a cuboid and constitutes a shaft inside which at least two weights (4) are placed, which in the upper part are provided with yokes for a sliding rope pulley, and on the upper rim of the lattice tower (2) there are mounted girders (5) provided with fixed rope pulleys corresponding to the sliding rope pulleys, while the rope drum (8) and the engine/generator system (3) are placed on a foundation (1) outside the outline of the lattice tower (2). Preferably, the lattice tower (2) has at least two shafts which have a common inner wall. The storage device may store the electrical energy generated from solar energy as potential energy during the day in weights (4) suspended from girders (5) when solar energy is available, and may, after the weights (4) are lowered by gravity, convert the potential energy into electrical energy during the night hours when solar energy is unavailable, supplying the converted electrical energy to the power grid.
