Abstract

The subject of the application is a method and device for continuous thermal processing of waste plastics. The method for continuous, waste-free thermal processing of waste polyolefins using a horizontal reactor equipped with an internal raw material transport system consists in conducting the process continuously at a temperature of 600°C - 980°C, preferably 780°C - 870°C, and at a pressure below 100 kPa, preferably 20-30 kPa, to obtain a broad hydrocarbon fraction with a hydrocarbon chain length of C1-C70 and an asphalt component containing carbon compounds >C70, which is liquid at temperatures above 180 degrees C.
