Abstract

Przedmiotem zgłoszenia jest sposób otrzymywania heterocyklicznych nienasyconych kopolimeryzujących monomerów akrylowych zawierających szkielet benzotiazolu o wzorze 1, w którym X oznacza atom wodoru lub grupę etoksylową, natomiast Y oznacza atom wodoru lub grupę metylową. Przedmiotem zgłoszenia są metody syntezy: 2-(benzotiazolylotio)etylo akrylanu BTA, 2-(benzotiazolylotio)etylo matakrylanu MBTA_H, 2-(2-(6-etoksybenzotiazolylo)tio)etylo akrylanu BTA_6-OEt, 2-(2-(6-etoksybenzotiazolylo)tio)etylo metakrylanu MBTA_6-OEt. Według istotnych cech wynalazku są to heterocykliczne akrylany i metakrylany. Przykładami odpowiednich pierścieni heterocyklicznych są te, które zawierają atom siarki. Związki te znajdują zastosowanie jako monomery akrylanowe i metakrylanowe w produkcji materiałów optycznych. Z uwagi na wysokie molowe współczynniki refrakcji są one wykorzystywane do otrzymywania powłok polimerowych o wysokim współczynniku załamania światła. Heterocykliczne akrylany i metakrylany otrzymuje się w wyniku reakcji kondensacji odpowiedniej pochodnej 2-(2-benzotiazolylotio)etanolu z chlorkiem kwasu akrylowego. Jest to proces dwuetapowy, który wymaga otrzymania pochodnej 2-(2-benzotiazolylotio)etanolu o wzorze 1, gdzie X oznacza atom wodoru lub grupę etoksylową. Inny sposób wytwarzania akrylanowych pochodnych benzotiazolu to reakcja odpowiedniej pochodnej 2-merkaptobenzotiazolu z 2-chloroetylometakrylanem.The subject of the application is a method for obtaining heterocyclic unsaturated copolymerizable acrylic monomers containing a benzothiazole skeleton of formula 1, wherein X is a hydrogen atom or an ethoxy group, and Y is a hydrogen atom or a methyl group. The subject of the application are methods for the synthesis of: 2-(benzothiazolylthio)ethyl acrylate BTA, 2-(benzothiazolylthio)ethyl methacrylate MBTA_H, 2-(2-(6-ethoxybenzothiazolyl)thio)ethyl acrylate BTA_6-OEt, 2-(2-(6-ethoxybenzothiazolyl)thio)ethyl methacrylate MBTA_6-OEt. According to the essential features of the invention, these are heterocyclic acrylates and methacrylates. Examples of suitable heterocyclic rings are those containing a sulfur atom. These compounds find use as acrylate and methacrylate monomers in the production of optical materials. Due to their high molar refractive indices, they are used to obtain polymer coatings with a high refractive index. Heterocyclic acrylates and methacrylates are obtained by condensation of the appropriate 2-(2-benzothiazolylthio)ethanol derivative with acrylic acid chloride. This is a two-step process that requires obtaining the 2-(2-benzothiazolylthio)ethanol derivative of formula 1, where X is a hydrogen atom or an ethoxy group. Another method for preparing acrylate derivatives of benzothiazole is the reaction of the appropriate 2-mercaptobenzothiazole derivative with 2-chloroethylmethacrylate.
