Przedmiotem zgłoszenia jest zespół sprężyn kieszeniowych, warstwa materacowa oraz materac. Zespół sprężyn kieszeniowych dla warstwy materacowej zawiera wielość ułożonych obok siebie wstęg sprężyn kieszeniowych, w których każda ze sprężyn umieszczona jest pojedynczo w kieszonce z materiału tekstylnego, a każda kieszonka połączona jest z sąsiadującą kieszonką do utworzenia wstęgi sprężyn kieszeniowych, przy czym sąsiadujące wstęgi sprężyn kieszeniowych są ze sobą połączone. W zespole każda wstęga (4) sprężyn kieszeniowych na całej swojej rozciągłości zawiera naprzemiennie ułożone sprężyny o różnej twardości.
