Abstract

The subject of the application is a method of obtaining an extract from Trametes versicolor rich in proteins and peptides, characterized in that prior to extraction, the fruiting bodies are prepared in such a way that the fruiting bodies, cleaned and divided into smaller fragments, are frozen at a temperature of -20°C to -80°C, after which the frozen material is poured with liquid nitrogen, preferably three times, and ground into a powder or alternatively subjected to lyophilization at a temperature of -50°C to -40°C, preferably -45°C at a pressure of 4 to 6 Pa, optimally 5 Pa, until a constant mass of the lyophilizate is obtained, then the lyophilized or crushed (ground) fruiting bodies are subjected to extraction by pouring water in w:w proportions of 1:15 to 1:30, preferably 1:20, the process is carried out at a temperature of 50°C to 80°C for 1.5 to 2 hours, then cooled to 30°C, the supernatant is centrifuged and concentrated, preferably to obtain a ten-fold concentrated extract. The subject of the application is also an extract of Trametes versicolor rich in proteins and peptides for use in supporting the prevention and treatment of diseases caused by staphylococci and streptococci.
