Abstract
The subject of the application is a method of purifying acidic groundwater from toxic chromium compounds by passing the groundwater through a semi-permeable reactive barrier, which contains two layers, the first layer being a mixture of quartz sand with a natural material containing aluminosilicate, the crystal structure of which contains Fe2+, and the second layer is made of crushed limestone.
