Description

2 — prze¬ krój poprzeczny ramy (w polozeniu obróco- nym o 180°), a fig. 3 — schematycznie rame z uwidocznionymi przegródkami.Rama 1 posiada górna czesc 2, zaopatrzona w ramke 3, przytrzymujaca plyte kserogra¬ ficzna 4. W komorze 5 osadzone sa prostopadle do podloza skrzydelka 12 nachy¬ lone pod katem wzgledem scian bocznych ra¬ my. Wynosi on np. 35—40°. PLPublished on February 7, 1961 and * .GO 3j '5 / ° * LIBRARY ^ POLISH RZECZYPOLITEJ PEOPLEJ PATENT DESCRIPTION No. 44196 KI. 15 k, 7/05 Warsaw University of Technology (Department of General Physics A) *) Warsaw, Poland Device for producing xerographic images The patent is valid from July 30, 1960 Known devices for producing xerographic images are made in the form of a box with the upper part placed there is an optical system, and in the middle there is a frame for a xerographic plate. There is developer powder in the periphery of this frame. The frame is pivoted on a horizontal axis. In order to distribute the powder over the plate, the frame is swung in a swing about this axis. Such an embodiment does not ensure even distribution of the powder over the entire plate and its good development, as the powder flows only in the longitudinal direction of the plate. The object of the invention is to ensure an even distribution of the powder on the sensitizing plate. According to the invention, this is achieved. by placing the frame so that it can rotate around the axis, perpendicular to the plane of the xerographic plate. *) The owner of the patent stated that the authors of the invention were Jan Baran, Romuald Wisniewski and Zygmunt Zawifilawski. is shown in the drawing, in which fig. 1 shows a perspective view of a part of the device with a frame for the light-sensitive plate, fig. 2 - a cross-section of the frame (in a position rotated by 180 °), and fig. 3 - schematically a frame with visible compartments. The frame 1 has an upper part 2 provided with a frame 3 holding a xerographic plate 4. The rim of the frame is bent so as to form a chamber 5 in which the development powder is contained. In the chamber 5 are embedded wings 12 perpendicular to the ground, inclined at an angle with respect to the side walls of the frame. These wings are flat or arched plates. They serve to distribute the powder on the plate. The bottom (or crossbar) 6 of the frame is mounted on the axis 10 in the beam 8 so that the frame 1 can rotate about this axis 10. The beam 8 is rotatably mounted in the arms 9 of the device. It is suitable for the frame 1 by means of a crank 11. After the plate is irradiated, the frame 1 slides out of the instrument box and rotates through an angle of about 135 [deg.], i.e. upside down, as shown in Fig. 1 with a broken line. In this position, by turning the crank 11, the frame is rotated around the axle 10. During this rotation, the powder flows from the upper part of the frame and is guided by the flaps 12 so that it spreads evenly over the entire plate, and when turning it the frame, the individual portions of the powder are lifted up in successive compartments by means of the flaps. According to the invention, it has been found that good powder distribution is achieved by appropriately selecting the angle of inclination of the xerox plate with respect to the horizontal plane. This angle is variable and depends on the material of the substrate and the material of the powder. It is, for example, 35-40 °. PL
