Abstract
A method of monitoring and eliminating excessive slack in the chain coming off the drive drums of a scraper conveyor, where a tension mechanism with at least one hydraulic tension cylinder (6) is used to change the setting of the distance between the drive and return wheels, and the tension state of the chain cable (1) is detected using a transmitter measurement value (2), the signals of which are processed by the electronic control unit (4) in order to control the extension or retraction stroke of the tension cylinder (6), in the sense of setting the own tension of the chain cable (1), is characterized in that first, at least one autonomous vibration sensor (2), which is a transmitter of the measurement value, installed at a selected point of the chain link (1) of the scraper conveyor, is activated at the point of entry of the chain link (1) into the area of the discharge drive (NW) of the scraper conveyor. Next, the active, autonomous vibration sensor (2') measures and analyzes the vibrations of the chain link (1), until the autonomous vibration sensor (2') reaches a point directly behind the discharge drive (NW) of the scraper conveyor. Now the information with the data of the chain link vibration measurement (1) from the autonomous vibration sensor (2") is transmitted wirelessly to the radio receiver (3) connected to the control module (4), which is an electronic control unit, which, according to the data obtained, initiates or not operation of the tensioning actuator (6). After sending the data, the autonomous vibration sensor (2") is automatically deactivated until it reaches the point of entry of the chain link (1) into the area of the return drive (NZ) of the scraper conveyor, where the autonomous vibration sensor (2) ) is activated again. The autonomous vibration sensor (2') starts another measurement and analysis of the chain link vibrations (1). After the autonomous vibration sensor (2') reaches the point directly behind the return drive (NZ) of the scraper conveyor, information with the data of the chain link vibration measurement (1) from the autonomous vibration sensor (2") is transmitted wirelessly via the radio receiver (3) to control module (4), which, according to the obtained data, initiates or disables the operation of the tensioning actuator (6). After sending the data, the autonomous vibration sensor (2") is automatically deactivated. The above activities are carried out cyclically during the real-time operation of the chain link (1) of the scraper conveyor. The subject of the application is also a system for monitoring the slack of the chain coming off the drive drums of the scraper conveyor.
