Abstract

The subject of the invention is a preformat of a hybrid metal-ion capacitor operating in an organic electrolyte, containing electrodes separated by a porous membrane. The porous positive electrode contains metal cyanide (MCN) in the amount of 5 to 65%, preferably 36%, in relation to the total weight of the electrode material, from which the anion CN- is electrochemically oxidized, enabling the transfer of metal ions M+ to the negative electrode material to obtain a metal-ion hybrid capacitor. The subject of the invention is also a method of obtaining a metal-ion capacitor working in an organic electrolyte on the basis of a preformat.
