Abstract

The method of producing soil aeration inserts from a cellulose-rock composite is characterized by the fact that as a cellulose component, waste paper containing cardboard with a grammage above 230 g / m2 in an amount of at least 60% by weight, which is defibrated with clean water until a homogeneous material is used, is used. pulp of cellulose fibers, keeping the proportion of 5 - 30 liters of water for every 1 kilogram of waste paper. The cellulose pulp obtained in this way is subjected to the process of vacuum filtration until obtaining a pulp with a moisture content of less than 50% by weight, which is mixed with rock grit washed in water with a grain size of 5 - 60 mm for 10 - 20 minutes, keeping the proportions 5 - 30 kg. grit for every 1 kilogram of pulp, and the cellulose-rock mixture obtained in this way is pressed in cylindrical molds with a diameter of 4 - 25 cm and a length of 15 - 120 cm using a piston with a pressure of 5 - 120 kN for 3 - 10 minutes. The cellulose-rock composite thus compressed and shaped into cylinders is dried at ambient temperature in drying trays until a moisture content of less than 10% by weight is achieved.
