Abstract

Przedmiotem wynalazku jest sposób biofortyfikowania owoców pomidora, klasyfikowanych jako żywność specjalnego przeznaczenia, wzbogaconych w potas i ewentualnie magnez. Sposób biofortyfikowania owoców pomidora polega na wymieszaniu roztworu siarczanu (VI) potasu (K<sub>2</sub>SO<sub>4</sub>), zawierającego od 0,1 do 15% m/m potasu oraz alginianu sodu w stężeniu od 0,1 do 15% m/m, następnie wymieszane składniki wkrapla się za pomocą enkapsulatora do roztworu sieciującego, w postaci chlorku wapnia (CaCl<sub>2</sub>), o stężeniu od 0,05 do 1 M. Otrzymanymi kapsułkami hydrożelowego nawozu potasowego, o kontrolowanym uwalnianiu, nawozi się uprawy pomidora w warunkach szklarniowych oraz polowych, w proporcji od 100 do 300 kg/ha. Korzystnie do mieszaniny roztworu siarczanu potasu oraz alginianu sodu dodaje się karboksymetylocelulozę w stężeniu od 0,1 do 10% m/m, a po enkapsulacji nawóz o kontrolowanym uwalnianiu potasu stosuje się do biofortyfikacji owoców pomidora w uprawie hydroponicznej, w dawce od 2 do 8 g potasu/kg owoców. Ewentualnie dodatkowo pomidory nawozi się dolistnie siarczanem magnezu o stężeniu od 1 do 20% MgO w ilości od 100 do 600 l/ha.
