Abstract
Endoproteza stawu biodrowego składa się z trzpienia (2) z szyjką walcową (3), na której zamocowana jest główka kulista (1). W dolnej części szyjki walcowej (3) na połączeniu z główką kulistą (1) znajduje się wybranie promieniowe (11). Zastosowanie wybrania promieniowego (11) zbliża nachylenie trzpienia (2) wraz z nogą pacjenta do płaszczyzny czołowej (13) półpierścieni (9 i 10), co umożliwia uzyskanie przez endoprotezę ruchu zbliżonego do ruchu fizjologicznego stawu biodrowego.
