Abstract
The subject of the invention is a method for determining losses in the yield of grain or plant seeds caused by feeding on a free-living plantation, violent weather events or human activity. The proposed method is characterized in that the loss of grain (seeds) yield is determined by determining the area of the plantation needed to fill the combine tank with grain (seeds) in the area that has been damaged during the vegetation and in the area free from these damages. The method is characterized by the fact that taking into account the volume of the combine's tank, the loose mass (volumetric weight) of the grain (seeds) and the area needed to fill the tank, it is possible to determine the unit yield of grain (seeds) for the damaged area (yield after damage) and for the undamaged area. (yield before damage). From the "before the damage" yield we subtract the "after the damage" yield. The difference is the unit yield loss. The granular mass of the grain is determined using a densimeter.
