Abstract

Przedmiotem zgłoszenia jest jednostka komunikacji wojskowej, która wykorzystuje sieci komunikacji cyfrowej (110) o względnie dużej szerokości pasma (np. sieci komórkowe), jest zdolna do działania jako koncentrator komunikacji bezprzewodowej dla żołnierza, pojazdu, broni lub innej jednostki. Jednostka komunikacji wojskowej może otrzymywać dane z wielu urządzeń za pośrednictwem technologii bezprzewodowych bliskiego zasięgu i komunikować się z sieciami treningowymi lub operacyjnymi. Jednostka komunikacji wojskowej może być elastyczna pod względem swoich możliwości przekazywania danych przez formatowanie danych zgodnie z Rozproszoną Interaktywną Symulacją (DIS), Architekturą Wysokiego Poziomu (HLA) i/lub innym standardem rozproszonej symulacji komputerowej. Ponadto, jednostka komunikacji wojskowej może być ponadto zdolna do zmiany pasma ("rebanding"), umożliwiając komunikację z wykorzystaniem protokołów i/lub standardów komórkowych w niekomórkowych pasmach częstotliwości. Przedmiotem zgłoszenia jest sposób działania wojskowej jednostki komunikacyjnej.
