Description

Opublikowano dnia 14 maja 1960 r. vAT^ E&l et ASI POLSKIEJ RZECZYPOSPOLITEJ LUDOWEJ OPIS PATENTOWY Nr 43005 August Klónne *) Dortmund, Niemiecka Republika Federalna Przegubowe wiqzanie stropnicowe Patent trwa od dnia 18 lutego 1959 r.Wynalazek dotyczy przegubowych wiazan stropnicowych, które z jednej strony sa zakon¬ czone rozwidleniem, a z drugiej czopem. Oby¬ dwa konce wsuwa sie jeden w drugi i laczy sworzniem przegubowym. Gunther Stock i inz. 1), fig. 5 — widok z boku konca glowicy stropnicy w podzialce zwiekszo¬ nej i fig. 6 — czesciowy przekrój podluzny kon¬ ca glowicy wedlug fig. PL PLPublished on May 14, 1960 VAT E&l et ASI POLISH PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC PATENT DESCRIPTION No. 43005 August Klónne *) Dortmund, German Federal Republic Hinged Roof Tie Patent valid since February 18, 1959. The invention relates to hinged roof ties which terminate in a fork at one end and a tenon at the other. The two ends are inserted into each other and connected by a hinge pin. When installing the roof bar from the coal face side, it is tilted upwards after inserting the hinge pin and is held in the upper position by means of an inserted wedge. When a canopy is permanently installed, its angular position can be adjusted within certain limits both vertically and horizontally. Canopy bars can be made of any material. Hinged canopy bindings are known, which, in addition to the hinge pin, have a wedge connected to it for closing the binding. Wedge bolts are also known, having a stopping device at both ends, which allow the bolts to be moved while securing them from falling out of the canopy. The essence of the invention is the articulated canopy binding, which is very simple to use. The parts of this truss are assembled in a way that prevents them from falling out. Furthermore, thanks to its simple design, it is better adapted to poor lighting conditions underground, which often make it difficult to insert pins, wedges, or bolts into holes or cutouts. The possibility of drilling individual holes in the canopy heads is completely eliminated thanks to the invention. To solve this problem, the hinge pin is rigidly connected to a locating wedge. While this pin is movable, it is positioned in the head of the forked canopy in a way that prevents falling out. A rigid connection between the hinge pin and the wedge can be, for example, an elbow that remains outside the beam cross-section on the side of the truss. The elbow incorporates a wedge at a wider point, which can be inserted either under or over the hinge pin, meaning the canopy can be installed after being rotated 180°. On the side facing the hinge pin, the wedge has a central longitudinal rib, the thickness of which increases towards the narrower end of the wedge, so that the wedge takes the shape of a beam of uniform strength. The rib of the wedge has the shape of an impact surface at its narrower end, thanks to which the wedge can be easily loosened. The elbow may also have one impact surface each in front of the wedge and one below it, facilitating the wedge's insertion. The wedge can be further loosened even when the recovered canopy is already hanging down and the impact surface at the narrow end of the wedge is covered. The wedge is symmetrical about its vertical central longitudinal axis. The wedge's resistance surfaces, on the jaws of the forked head and on the pivot, are trough-shaped, e.g., an angle trough. The advantage of the wedge is that its cross-section is a flattened ellipse, i.e., it has rounded lateral surfaces. This creates resistance lines on both surfaces, or on two of the surfaces that form the resistance trough. As the canopy moves, these lines move up or down. Grooves are advantageously provided on the lower and upper sides of the hinge pin, in which means for securing the pin are placed. It is also advantageous that the securing device is a rotating stopping device. For this purpose, the inner or outer surfaces of the fork jaws can be removed, and in their place, a disc with a thumb engaging the pin groove is inserted. The disc can be secured against sideways movement with a spacer ring, but the installation of such a spacer ring is not necessary. A bolt, for example, extending into the groove and fastened in the jaw of the fork of the fork head on the elbow side, can also be used as a securing device. In each case, the locking device is arranged so that the hinge pin can be pulled back until the space for inserting the pin of the added canopy is free. The hinge pin has one or more annular grooves which, when the non-rotating locking device is used, allow the hinge pin to rotate completely. This allows the canopy to be rotated by 180°. To ensure that the added canopy can be hung without difficulty, the hinge pin is longer than the wedge. An embodiment of the invention is shown in the drawing, wherein Fig. 1 shows a side view of an articulated canopy connection with the hinge pin and . wedge in cross-section, Fig. 2 — horizontal longitudinal section of the truss according to Fig. 1, Fig. 3 — section along line III — III in Fig. 2, Fig. 4 — view of the truss from below (looking in the direction of arrow X in Fig. 1), Fig. 5 — side view of the end of the canopy head in an enlarged scale and Fig. 6 — partial longitudinal section of the end of the head according to Fig. 5. In the drawing, the number 1 denotes a permanently installed canopy, and the number V denotes an added canopy. The canopy is shown as normal I-beams. A forked head 2 is welded to these beams at one end, and a central member 3 in the shape of a pin is welded at the other end. In the forked head 2 there is a pin 4, hereinafter referred to as a hinge pin, which is connected to the wedge 5 via an elbow 5'. The hinge pin 4 has two longitudinal grooves 6 in which a stopping device can slide, which in the discussed embodiment has the shape of a rotating disc 8. Thanks to such a device, the hinge pin is held in the forked head 2 of the canopy, remaining movable in the longitudinal direction, and the wedge 5 cannot fall out with it. This rotatable feature is therefore required because the steel The hinged canopy should be rotatable by 180° around the longitudinal axis. Wedge 5 has striking surfaces 9, 9', and 10 at both ends. The striking surface 10 is built under the actual rib-shaped wedge surface so that the wedge provides a beam of equal strength and, moreover, allows for easy loosening. Viewed from the centerline, wedge 5 has the same taper on both sides, i.e., it is symmetrical. The wedge's bearing surfaces are shaped so that they adapt to the circular movement of the added canopy. Both lateral surfaces of the wedge are rounded in cross-section so that the wedge has good support on the angle-channel-shaped bearing surfaces 11. The supporting surfaces on the forked head run in the same direction above and below the hinge point, while on the pivot 3 they run in opposite directions. The supporting surfaces 11 are shaped so that they do not allow the wedge to slip downwards. The wedge 5 is shorter than the hinge pin 4, so that the canopy being installed or recovered can still be tilted around the hinge pin 4. The canopy heads can also be connected to the beam in other ways than shown in the drawing, e.g., by screws, rivets, welding, etc. However, the low construction height of the new canopy hinge must be taken into account.
