Abstract
The subject of the application is the use of a multi-component preparation in the feeding of fattening turkeys as a factor limiting methane emissions, characterized in that a preparation containing a short-chain fatty acid in the form of a salt in a mixture with at least one active ingredient of plant or synthetic origin is added to the feed for poultry, in particular for fattening turkeys, preserved in a matrix of lipid origin in an amount of up to 0.5% of dry matter, preferably in an amount of 0.2-0.3%.
