Abstract
The subject of the application is a method of producing a coating of titanium dioxide modified with silver and nitrogen, and the coating produced by this method, due to its antibacterial properties, is intended especially for application on ceramic substrates, tools, apparatus, etc. used in hospitals and other health care institutions. The above method consists in the fact that a target made of titanium (99.7 - 99.995% purity), in the shape of a disc with a diameter of 25 - 203 mm and Ag rods (99.9% pure) symmetrically located in the drilled holes, constituting the cathode, magnetron sputtering on a borosilicate glass substrate placed near the target and parallel to it in the presence of a gas mixture of Ar: 75% ± 2%, O2: 23% ± 2% and N2: 2% ± 1% and under pressure in the range of 0.4 - 0.6 Pa, obtaining a coating with an amorphous structure with crystalline Ag particles with a diameter of up to 2 nm, and then the coating was annealed at the temperature of 450 - 500 ° C for 1 - 1.5 hours. under nitrogen atmosphere. The subject of the application is also a coating of titanium dioxide modified with silver and nitrogen, in which the titanium dioxide is present in the rityl and anatase phase, which consists of the phases: anatase, Ti2.8O4N, rutile and Ag nanoparticles with crystallite sizes up to several nm and a small relative structure volume amorphous, with the Ag concentration in the coating being 3.3 ÷ 3.8 at.
