Abstract

The subject of the application is a method of recovering the coolant in the process of pressing metal elements, where the coolant circulates in a closed system. In this method, the extruded metal is rinsed with a coolant thinner or a coolant thinner solution, and the resulting rinsed solution is used to replenish the amount of coolant in the system. The subject of the application is also a device for recovering the coolant in the process of pressing metal elements, where the coolant circulates in a closed system, which includes at least one nozzle spraying a diluent or a diluent solution onto metal elements (5, 5a) equipped with at least one pump (2, 2a) ) and at least one reservoir for the coolant solution (1, 1a).
