Abstract

Przedmiotem zgłoszenia jest przedstawione na rysunku kryptograficzne zabezpieczenie bankomatów przy pomocy kryptografii kwantowej w systemie QKD (Quantum Key Distribution). Urządzenie to jest standardowym bankomatem, w którym poufne dane (numer karty użytkownika i numer PIN) przesyłane celem identyfikacji z bankomatu do centrali byłyby szyfrowane w systemie One-Time-Pad (symetryczna kryptografia) przy pomocy tajnego klucza współdzielonego i w sposób ciągły tworzonego według schematu QKD, przy wykorzystaniu pojedynczej linii światłowodowej łączącej bankomat z centralą jako kanału kwantowego (w przypadku wielu jednostek byłaby to sieć w topologii gwiazdy z centrali lub oddziału banku). W kanale tym przesyłane byłyby fotony - qubity z zaimplementowanym ciągiem bitów w fazie fali e-m. Poprzez wykorzystanie protokołu BB84 oraz systemu hardwarowego do realizacji procedury QKD na niesplątanych fotonach, możliwe będzie kryptograficzne zabezpieczenie poufności przetwarzania danych klienta (numer karty i PIN) przy transakcjach realizowanych na odległość z bankomatów.The subject of the notification is the cryptographic protection of ATMs shown in the figure using quantum cryptography in the QKD (Quantum Key Distribution) system. This device is a standard ATM in which confidential data (user card number and PIN number) sent for identification from the ATM to the control panel would be encrypted in the One-Time-Pad (symmetrical cryptography) system using a secret shared key and continuously created according to the QKD scheme , using a single fiber optic line connecting the ATM with the exchange as a quantum channel (in the case of many units, it would be a network in star topology from the bank's headquarters or branch). In this channel photons - qubits with the implemented string of bits in the e-m wave phase would be sent. By using the BB84 protocol and the hardware system to implement the QKD procedure on non-entangled photons, it will be possible to cryptographically secure the confidentiality of customer data processing (card number and PIN) for remote transactions from ATMs.
