The orbital welding method is characterized by the fact that the welding area is observed by means of a thermal imaging camera (1) directed to the area behind the weld pool and covering the area of solidified weld and in the event of a change in the weld's cooling temperature, if the temperature drop is corrected by at least 5% there are welding parameters in such a way that the level of linear energy for welding the second stitch and filling stitches is within the range of 0.8 - 1.8 kJ / mm, and the three stitches of the weld face are between 0.75 - 1.7 kJ / mm, but the differences in temperature level are the same distance from the weld pool and when the weld cools down.
