Abstract

The subject of the application is the method of determining the risk of cancer in women depending on their age and concentrations of selected micronutrients. It has been established that there is a correlation between the concentrations of arsenic, cadmium, lead, mercury, copper, zinc, selenium and their ratios in whole blood and the risk of cancer in women who are not carriers of any of the founder mutations in the BRCA1/2 gene typical of the Polish population, both before and after the age of 60 and depending on the use of hormonal agents.
