Abstract

Jednoetapową reakcję węglanu alkilenu z wodnym roztworem skrobi rozpuszczalnej o stężeniu 50% do 80% prowadzi się przy udziale od 0,1% mas. do 3,0% mas. węglanu potasu w stosunku do masy mieszaniny w temperaturze od 120°C do 180°C do zaniku obecności węglanu alkilenu. Uzyskana przedmiotowym sposobem mieszanina wielofunkcyjnych polieteroli może być stosowana do produkcji poliuretanów, zwłaszcza sztywnych, biodegradowalnych pianek poliuretanowych.The subject of the application is a process which concerns the preparation of a mixture of multifunctional polyetherols of general formulas 1 and 2, in which a, b, c, d denote the number of oxyalkylene units in the polyetherol chains, n denotes the degree of polymerization of starch and R denotes a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, in the reactions of starch with alkylene carbonate, with the participation of potassium carbonate as a catalyst. A one-stage reaction of alkylene carbonate with an aqueous solution of 50% to 80% soluble starch is carried out with a proportion of 0.1% by mass. up to 3.0 mass% potassium carbonate in relation to the mass of the mixture at 120 ° C to 180 ° C until the presence of alkylene carbonate disappears. The mixture of multifunctional polyetherols obtained with the subject method can be used for the production of polyurethanes, especially rigid, biodegradable polyurethane foams.
