Układ hybrydowego wielofazowego kompensatora przepięć i zapadów napięcia przemiennego o n fazach zawiera transformator (TR) o n uzwojeniach pierwotnych (P1, P2,...,PN) i odpowiadających im n głównych uzwojeniach wtórnych i n pomocniczych uzwojeniach wtórnych, przy czym każde pomocnicze uzwojenie wtórne transformatora (TR) ma w połowie swojej liczby zwojów wyprowadzony odczep dzielący odpowiadające uzwojenie na dwa symetryczne uzwojenia: pierwsze pomocnicze uzwojenia (WP11, WP21,..., WPN1) i drugie pomocnicze uzwojenia (WP12, WP22,..., WPN2). N-fazowe zaciski źródła zasilania (L1, L2,..., LN) przyłączone są do jednych końców odpowiadających im uzwojeń pierwotnych (P1, P2,..., PN) transformatora (TR), którego drugie końce uzwojeń pierwotnych (P1, P2,..., PN) połączone są ze sobą i z zaciskiem zerowym (N) źródła zasilania.
