Abstract
The subject of the application are new phases of the type of limited solid solutions doped with rare earth metal ions, characterized in that the rare earth metal is neodymium with the general formula Pb1-3x xNd2xWO4 or Pb1-3x xNd2x(MoO4)1-3x(WO4)3x, where 0 < x ≤ 0.2000, and means a vacancy in the crystal lattice. In addition, the application also includes a method for producing phases of the type of limited solid solutions doped with rare earth metal ions, consisting in mixing, homogenizing, annealing and cooling, characterized in that lead(II) tungstate(VI) in an amount greater than or equal to 66.67 mol% and less than 100.00 mol% is mixed with neodymium(III) tungstate(VI) in an amount of more than 0.00 mol% and less than or equal to 33.33 mol%, and lead molybdate(VI)( II) in an amount greater than or equal to 66.67 mol% and less than 100.00 mol% is mixed with neodymium(III) tungstate(VI) in an amount greater than 0.00 mol% and less than or equal to 33, 33 mol%, after which the mixtures are calcined at 900 to 995°C, then cooled to give a product of the general formula Pb1-3x xNd2xWO4 or Pb1-3x xNd2x(MoO4)1-3x(WO4)3x, where 0 < x ≤ 0.2000, and means vacancies in the crystal lattice.
