Abstract

Polimerowy amfolit, który obejmuje co najmniej jeden monomer niejonowy, co najmniej jeden monomer zawierający kwas sulfonowy i co najmniej jeden monomer kationowy, może być użyteczny w zwiększających lepkość płynach do szczelinowania przeznaczonych do stosowania w pracach pod ziemią, w stężeniu od około 0,5% obj. do około 30% obj. płynu do szczelinowania. Takie prace mogą obejmować wprowadzanie płynu do szczelinowania do odwiertu w formacji podziemnej, opcjonalnie pod ciśnieniem wystarczającym do wytworzenia lub rozszerzenia co najmniej jednej szczeliny w formacji podziemnej.
