Abstract
The subject of the application is a method of utilizing polyolefins from municipal waste, especially polyethylene, and composites based on low density polyethylene for the production of utilitarian elements. The method of utilizing polyolefins from municipal waste, especially polyethylene, is distinguished by the fact that waste from solid or plastics is separated from polyethylene waste, separately from films and separate packaging, after which the films, if appropriate depending on their purpose, are washed with water from by adding 1 - 4% by weight of detergent, then dried in the open air or at a temperature of 40 - 70 ° C, preferably 50 ° C, after which the films are selected, depending on their thickness and color, separately or together, crushed into sections surface, the longest side of which is <5 mm, preferably 2 mm, and prepares, while the outer packaging is cleaned, rinsed and optionally washed with water with the addition of 1-4% by weight of detergent, and then dried at a temperature of 40 - 80 ° C, preferably 60 ° C, and then the spatial packaging prepared in this way is selected, depending on the purpose, crushed by known methods, and then gives granulation with a grain diameter of 0.5 - 2 mm, preferably 1 mm or cuts into shaped pieces adapted to the shredder, grinds into particles of 0.5 - 2 mm, preferably 1 mm, and prepares. Composites, based on low-density polyethylene, for the production of functional elements, consisting of waste polyethylene, fillers and optional additives, are characterized by the fact that they contain 10 - 70% by weight of waste polyethylene in the form disintegrated into scraps of foil, 20 - 80% by weight of fillers inorganic and / or organic and optionally 2 - 10% by weight of additives facilitating processing and / or improving aesthetics, and / or absorbing water.
