Przedmiotem wynalazku jest pierścień chłodzący, zwłaszcza dla łożysk polimerowych, znajdujący zastosowanie w urządzeniach produkcyjnych dla przemysłu spożywczego, elektroenergetycznego i wytwórstwa różnorakich przedmiotów przemysłu wielobranżowego, gdzie wykorzystuje się polimerowe łożyska ślizgowe, montowane na metalowych wałach obrotowych. Pierścień chłodzący charakteryzuje się tym, że zawiera otwór przelotowy (2) i powierzchnie czołowe (3), oraz wyposażony jest w żebra chłodzące (4), które zintegrowane są z powierzchniami czołowymi (3) pierścienia chłodzącego (1'), który wykonany jest z materiału polimerowego o przewodności termicznej co najmniej 1W/mK.
