Abstract

The subject of the notification is a method of preparing meadow biomass for biogas production, consisting of heat treatment by freezing at a temperature of - 27 ° C for about 90 days. The advantage of biomass prepared in this way is, among others, obtaining a substrate for the production of fuel (biogas) with an average methane content above 50%, which can be used for the production of electricity and heat, as well as management of often onerous biodegradable waste, including meadow biomass, which is important for environmental protection.
