Ujawniono wodorozpuszczalne, inteligentne kompleksy złota (III) o ogólnym wzorze 1: [AU(CN)m]n(m-p)n • (ClO2)rn, gdzie m ma wartość od 3 do 6, n ma wartość od 1 do 10, p ma wartość od 1 do 3, a r ma wartość od 0,1 do 2. Przedmiotem rozwiązania jest również sposób otrzymywania wodorozpuszczalnych, inteligentnych kompleksów złota (III), który polega na tym, że klastry złota wielokrotnie roztwarza się chemicznie, w kwasie solnym (HCl) w obecności przynajmniej 10 molowego nadmiaru chlorków jedno wartościowych metali alkalicznych i każdorazowo odparowuje do sucha, aż do uzyskania wielkości klastrów poniżej 1 nanometra, korzystnie mono-dijonów złota (III), a następnie w roztworze wodnym lub wodno-alkoholowym reaguje z cyjankiem jednowartościowego metalu alkalicznego w stosunku molowym od 1:3 do 1:6 w obecności łagodnego utleniacza, którym jest ditlenek chloru (IV) lub jego prekursor chloran (III) sodu, użyty w stosunku molowym 0,1 do 2 w stosunku do złota (III). The solution also relates to the use of water-soluble, intelligent gold (III) complexes of formula 1 as a single drug or as a pharmaceutical ingredient in a complex pharmaceutical composition in a reasonable amount and in any method of administration in cancer.
